| Welcome to New Mexico NAEP ! |
|
The National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) is the only nationally representative, continuing assessment of what America’s students know and can do in various subject areas.
The NAEP only collects information related to academic achievement and no data is reported at the district, school, or student level except in the Trial Urban District Assessment (TUDA) Districts.
NAEP guarantees the privacy of individual students, their families, and their schools. It is a survey designed to produce national and state level results; it is not a testing program for individual students or schools.
Since 1969, assessments have been conducted periodically in reading, mathematics, science, writing, history, geography, and other subject areas.
NAEP is also known as The Nation’s Report Card.
